What we do
The Traffic Safety Commission reviews traffic safety in the pital region and makes recommendations through a committee to the CRD Board to help reduce or eliminate problems. The Commission also plans and rries out traffic safety edution programs as provided for in the annual budget and approved by the CRD Board.
Community Member Needed
The CRD is taking applitions for a community member with experience in traffic safety and communitions to sit on the Traffic Safety Commission. Interested parties should submit applitions to crdtsc@crd.bc..
Proposed Point-to-Point Speed mera Pilot Project
Thank you to the 1400 people who gave feedback on the idea of a Point-to-Point Speed mera Pilot Project on the Malahat.? We have learned from the Minister that 70% of respondents were in favour of a pilot project.??We will continue to?encourage the provincial government to conduct a pilot project.
